NJ Congressional Candidate Rik Mehta Visiting South Side 35 Diner March 29

NJ Congressional Candidate Rik Mehta will be visiting South Side 35 Diner on March 29 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Rik Mehta is positioning himself to take on Congressman Frank Pallone for U.S. Congress District 6 which includes Piscataway, Metuchen, New Brunswick, Woodbridge, Perth Amboy, Sayreville, South Amboy, Union Beach, Keansburg, Hazlet, Marlboro, Highlands, Long Branch and Deal.  

Pallone is a democratic congressman who has served 17 terms.  Sayreville GOP Chairwoman Karen Bailey Bebert said, “We are ready for a change.  Rik will provide fresh, distinct and strong representation that is greatly needed in the 6th District today.”

Mehta is a biotech entrepreneur, healthcare policy expert and a licensed pharmacist and attorney.  He is a first generation American whose parents legally immigrated to the United States.

Rik received his B.S. in pharmacy from Rutgers University, his Pharm.D. from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and a Master of Laws in Global Health Law and International Institutions through a joint program with Georgetown University Law Center and the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.

Mehta has been endorsed by Metuchen GOP Chairman, Coach Mike Loreti; Sayreville GOP Chairwoman Karen Bailey Bebert; Carteret Chairman, Tom Coghan; Middlesex County Commissioner Candidate and Committeeman Jerry Shine and Sayreville Councilwoman and Committeewoman Donna Roberts.
