Christina Sitaca, mother of five and grandmother of seven children. She is a civic minded person since childhood.
- As a teenager Christina volunteered as a Candy Striper and volunteered in the summer for a Head Start program in New York City.
- Married and volunteered at her children’s school and for the Richmond Hill
Queens Boys and Girls Club of America. - Went to college while raising her children and received two BA’s in Education and Psychology.
- While getting her Master’s in Science of Reading, she went to Boston University to debate the Constitution, being the only elementary school teacher selected.
- Received her second Master’s in Supervisory and Administration.
- While working on her degrees she took extra courses in math, science and social studies.
- While a teacher she was elected a Chapter Leader at her school to defend the teachers by studying the contract and assisting them with their grievances.
Christina retired from teaching and joined the Sayreville Republican Party. She is a District 23 representative.
